However, they may get VISA if your parents try at their own risk.  If they have been in Canada over 1 year, and they could prove they will leave U.S. by their Canadian tie, they still have chance.  Best choice is that they apply their U.S. visa in China before they visit you next time.  The U.S VISA officers in China could understand the paper works which prepared by your parents in Chinese, and they could speak Chinese.  And they could get better price in air ticket if they have U.S. VISA and transfer from U.S. to Canada.  In Canada, you need to translate all paper works to English.  The possible good result is that VISA officer tell your parents that please apply your VISA in China, and do not record any bad information on their system.  All in all, I would not suggest your parents apply their U.S. VISA in Canada.

Answer this simple question before your parents book VISA interviewer appointment online.  Why didn't you apply your U.S. VISA in your own Country?

谢谢你的建议. 我父母没在中国申请主要是等候的时间比较长,而我在美国领事馆多伦多网站上看到这里只须等几天,所以就想,不如到加拿大再申请吧.如果象你说的那样,他们就只能等下次了.
