Lee’s Badminton Mississauga March Break Camp - March 10 – 14 , 2014

Goals:

• Educate players on the fundamentals of technique, strategies, footwork and overall training for badminton.  There will be special focus on players preparing for OFSAA.
• To emphasize participation, interpersonal, fair play, team spirit, leadership skills and sportsmanship that will be helpful throughout life.

Program

This program is geared towards novice to advanced players ages 8 to 18.  Participants will be grouped into various skill levels throughout the camp.  The will run from 9am - 4pm each day with a lunch break (12 – 1pm).

Early bird registration fee (Before 15 Feb, 2014): $299 Tax included

Registration: $339 Tax included

• Skill Set:Lifts, Drops, Net shots, Clears, Smash, Drives, Service, Slices, and Spins.  Focus on technique and consistency and shot quality.  All drills will be dynamic and involve multiple shots.
• Footwork: All areas of the court will be covered including offensive and defensive movements.
• Fitness: Training methods for advanced players will be given.
• Strategy: General play styles will be given throughout the match play and skill sessions to give the player an idea of when to hit the shots they are being taught for doubles, singles and mixed doubles.
